Before using Islanders Bank's Telephone Banking, make sure you have your account number(s) handy. When you first call in, you will be presented with a series of menus with easy to follow instructions.
As you attempt to inquire on each account, the system will ask you for your personal identification number (PIN) for that account. Use the last four digits of your social security number or tax ID number on the first call. You will be asked to change your identification number. Enter a number you can remember. You may use the same identification number on all your accounts, or you may choose separate numbers for each account.
If you forget your Personal Identificatlon Number, give us a call, we can reset your account back to the original PIN. For your security, your PIN is encrypted so only you know the number.
If you get lost or have problems, you may always dial "0" for a bank representative during banking hours.
FUNDS TRANSFERS In order to do funds transfers, you must have ownership for both accounts. For transferring from a checking account, you must be in the checking account menu. To transfer funds from a savings account you must be in the savings account menu.
